Qualifications

• Able to give clear direction, supervise and/or oversee the work of others.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, levels, micrometers, and lasers.
• Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment for shipment to installation site.
• Replace defective parts and adjust alignments for optimal performance.
• Signal or verbally communicate with workers to ensure safety during hoisting and moving loads.
