Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a skilled Millwright for field operations in North Kingstown, RI. The successful candidate will install, align, and maintain machinery, assist with relocation, and troubleshoot mechanical issues as part of a team. Prior millwright experience and a valid driver's license are required.

This physically demanding role requires working with hoists, hand tools, and precision measurement to ensure equipment reliability and safety on site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years Millwright experience or comparable field experience in the construction service industry.
• Valid Driver's License or ability to attain.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive environment and relationships.
• Good understanding of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
• Be approachable, open-minded, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment for shipment to installation site as part of a team.
• Construct foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
• Be certified to operate/mechanized equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
