Job summary

PADNOS, a full-service recycling company, seeks a Millwright II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to minimize downtime. You will interpret schematics, develop procedures for new jobs, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure equipment performance.

You will train Millwright I staff and may serve as lead on projects. This on-site night-shift role requires 3+ years of machine repair experience, ability to read hydraulics schematics, and strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of machine repair experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and basic control systems.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and execute corrective actions.
• Develop and document procedures for new jobs and rebuilds.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations support, and product development.
• Train and mentor Millwright I employees and act as lead on projects.
• Utilize maintenance systems to manage work orders and parts.
• Support safety, culture, and continuous improvement initiatives.
