Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Dillon, SC is seeking a Level 2 Millwright to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment with minimal supervision.

Read schematics, P&IDs, and orthographic drawings; perform welding, fabrication, and machining; provide leadership and training to lower-level technicians; maintain a safe, clean work area. Qualifications

10+ years of manufacturing experience; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree required
Certified apprenticeship, or AAS degree in mechatronics required
GED or High School diploma required

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs and installs manufacturing machinery and equipment for vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction, heating, lubrication, abrasive and pressure cleaning systems and their components.
Performs plumbing, machining, welding and fabrication to machinery, tools and equipment components as required to maintain systems.
Interface with vendors and contractors (equipment repairs, facilities, etc.).
Provide leadership and training to level one, two and three maintenance technicians.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition; perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities.
