Harley-Davidson Motor Company is hiring a Millwright for its Powertrain Operations in Wisconsin. The role requires journeyman status or five years of verifiable experience, with duties spanning preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of conveyors, gear boxes and pumps, and welding repairs across metal fabrication and heat-treat systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills for data logging and maintenance work orders.

Qualifications

• Journey-level status or five years of verifiable experience required.
• Must have basic computer skills for data logging, work order management and communications.
• Journeyperson's Card or five years of applicable experience as a Millwright or equivalent trade.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of heat treat equipment, furnaces, gas generators and related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyors, gear boxes and pumps.
• Welding skills (MIG/TIG/STICK) and sheet metal work knowledge.
• Read machine layouts and interpret prints for pneumatic and air systems.

Responsibilities

• Support production by providing immediate response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance in assigned area.
• Perform welding repairs as necessary.
• Assist in root cause analysis to improve equipment uptime.
• Train production staff in basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
