Job summary

Harley-Davidson’s Powertrain Operations facility in Menomonee Falls, WI, seeks a Maintenance Toolmaker to support production by quickly addressing breakdowns and performing tool and die work on automated equipment. You will repair hydraulics/pneumatics, assist training, and lead on jobs, with emphasis on safety and TPM practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a journeyman tool and die card with at least 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeylevel Tool and Die card with 5 years experience required.
• Hands-on hydraulics and pneumatics experience essential.
• Ability to read prints and operate tool room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and follow escalation processes.
• Troubleshoot and perform tool and die work on automated equipment.
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and perform PM activities.
• Assist in training employees and lead apprentices on jobs as needed.
• Record work using CMMS and maintain equipment availability targets.
