The role involves troubleshooting CNCs, robotics, and PLCs to support engine and transmission production for Harley-Davidson Genuine parts and final assembly.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with a journey-level card preferred; alternative experience may be considered.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Journey-level card as a Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Electrical Technician or equivalent is preferred.
In lieu of a journey-level card, 7 years of experience with CNCs or PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, and HMI) will be accepted.
2 years of experience with CNCs or 3 years of experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, and HMI)

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot over 2,000 assets including CNCs, Robotics, and PLCs in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Perform complex troubleshooting of industrial electrical and electronic systems on CNCs, Robotics, and PLCs.
Work with aluminum and steel machining using CNC controllers, servo motors, and HMIs.
Operate precision metal grinding machines with CNC controls.
Oversee powder coating operations using PLCs, paint robots, and temperature controllers.
Interpret prints of machine assemblies and wiring diagrams and support equipment using PLCs and HMIs.
