Zohorecruit in Houston, TX is seeking a millwork drafter with 2-3 years of AutoCAD experience to prepare detailed shop drawings. You will read and interpret architectural plans, collaborate with project managers, architects and engineers, and verify dimensions by visiting construction sites.

This role requires strong 2D/3D visualization skills and will involve material takeoffs, cut list creation, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Excel and PDF manipulation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in millwork drafting.
• Ability to read architectural and shop drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Proficiency in CAD software; able to work in 2D and 3D.
• Valid Texas Driver License.
• Not entry-level; candidates with AutoCAD experience welcome, certification may be required for entry-level roles.

Responsabilités

• Use AutoCAD or similar CAD software to prepare detailed shop drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and stakeholders for accuracy.
