Use AutoCAD or similar CAD software to prepare detailed shopdrawings for millwork fabrication.
Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings,blueprints, and specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers,and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
Visit construction jobsites to verify measurements anddimensions as necessary.
Perform material takeoffs and prepare cut lists.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all drawingsand related materials.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the millwork industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with minimum1-3 years of experience.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shopdrawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong spatial visualization skills and ability to work inboth 2D and 3D.
Proficiency in Excel, PDF manipulation, and other relevantsoftware.
Valid Texas Driver License.
Please Note:
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates with 1-3years of AutoCAD experience and/or 1-3 years of experience as a millworkdrafter will be considered. However, a certificate in drafting will be requiredfor entry-level positions.
The schedule for this position is 50+ hours per week, andyou must be able to meet tight deadlines.
