Job summary

Shield AI is hiring a Senior Recruiter for Military & SkillBridge Programs to build and run our pipeline of transitioning service members and veterans. You will own the DoW SkillBridge fellowship experience from intake through conversion, and drive fellow-to-full-time conversion across engineering, flight operations, and program teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including veteran hiring.
• Hands-on experience with SkillBridge or similar military fellowship programs.
• Ability to translate military experience to civilian roles.
• Experience partnering with HR, Legal, Security on compliant workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and candidate timeline management.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own DoW SkillBridge and military fellowship programs end to end.
• Coordinate onboarding, eligibility tracking, and program onboarding.
• Drive fellow-to-full-time conversion with hiring managers on fit and headcount.
• Translate military experience, ratings and qualifications into role fit and leveling.
• Build relationships with transition assistance programs and veteran organizations.
• Represent Shield AI at military hiring events, transition fairs and on-base engagements.
• Track and report fellow volume, conversion rates, time to hire, and source effectiveness.
