Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Senior Recruiter for Military & SkillBridge Programs to build pipelines of transitioning service members and veterans. You will own the DoW SkillBridge fellowship end to end, aligning it with hiring needs and conversion to full-time roles across engineering, flight operations, and program teams.

You will partner with HR, Legal, and Security to ensure compliant onboarding, translate military experience to civilian roles, and drive outreach through veteran-focused organizations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years recruiting veteran or transitioning military talent.
• Hands-on experience with DoW SkillBridge, Hiring Our Heroes, or comparable military fellowship programs.
• Experience translating military backgrounds into civilian role fit and leveling.

Responsibilities

• Own Shield AI's DoW SkillBridge and military fellowship programs end to end.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and Security to keep onboarding compliant for active-duty participants.
• Drive fellow-to-full-time conversions with hiring managers and plan offers before separations.
• Translate military experience and qualifications into role fit and leveling.
• Represent Shield AI at military hiring events and transition offices.
• Track fellowship metrics and use data to improve the program.
