AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Senior Military Analyst to support the Joint Staff J8 Forces Division. The role involves developing the Directed Readiness Tables (DRT), performing force management analyses, and extracting data from multiple DoD systems to produce for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in the military, top-secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and experience with strategic documents.

Qualifications

• TS clearance with SCI eligibility per SSBI within last 5 years.
• Master’s degree or BA/BS with completion of Joint Professional Military Education Program.
• Must synthesize national strategic documents to guide operational plans.
• 15+ years of military experience with working knowledge of the Joint Force.
• Staff experience at the OSW or Joint Staff level.

Responsibilities

• Support the Joint Staff J8 via analysis and assessments.
• Develop and populate the Directed Readiness Table (DRT).
• Analyze force management and readiness data from multiple sources.
• Interact with service and force providers to verify data in the DRT.
• Prepare DRT-related analytic products and brief senior leaders.
