Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Total Army Analysis Analyst in the Arlington, VA area to support HQDA G-4 logistics programs through strategic planning, analysis, and executive decision support. You will lead sustainment force-structure assessments, build new capabilities, and coordinate with DoD stakeholders to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar discipline.
• Ten plus years’ experience in DoD logistics, preferably Army.
• Good quantitative and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to identify client requirements and develop products to address those requirements with limited guidance and oversight.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to prioritize competing requirements from multiple sources.
• High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry.
• Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment, both in an office and telework environment.
• Availability for occasional travel.
• This position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level with eligibility to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. You must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on US Army sustainment doctrine and force structure.
• Participate in Total Army Analysis process, focusing on sustainment force structure, to balance the force within authorized end strength; build new capabilities, reduce unnecessary capabilities, refine existing capabilities.
• Analyze current and proposed organizational structures to assess changes to capabilities and sustainment requirements; identify gaps and mitigation strategies.
• Solicit and integrate internal SME input to Logistics/Sustainment Force Structure development to ensure self-sustaining units.
• Participate in scenario development and wargames to assess feasibility and sustainment impacts.
• Coordinate/synchronize stakeholder activities to maintain momentum on major initiatives.
• Analyze and assess DoD and US Army logistics and supply chain doctrine to identify gaps and improvements.
• Communicate with clients through written reports, slides, and oral presentations.
• Prepare point papers/notes/remarks for senior DoD officials; produce charts and presentation materials.
