Job summary

E-ONE, part of REV Group, is hiring an experienced welder for advanced fabrication of fire trucks. You will perform complex welding tasks, read blueprints, and ensure welds meet safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires proficiency in 2G/3G/6G welding, ability to operate welding equipment, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Certification progress within 30 days is expected, with opportunities for lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass 2G, 3G or 6G welding certification within 30 days.
• Proficient in TIG, MIG, and flux core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Strong understanding of welding codes, metallurgy, and inspection techniques.
• Able to work independently and maintain safety.
• Lean principles knowledge and willingness to Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and set up welding sequences.
• Prepare materials and ensure welds meet standards.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance.
• Operate welding equipment and maintain tools.
• Work with various weld metals as required.
• Follow safety procedures and assist training.
• May require 0-1 year of certified welding experience.
