Westerman, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder to set up and operate advanced welding equipment, ensuring high-quality repairs and conformance to specifications.

This safety-sensitive role requires solving production challenges, reducing scrap, and maintaining efficiency while delivering defect-free work. Applicants must pass 3G MIG/Fluxcore and 6G TIG tests, have 2+ years TIG experience, and hold AWS/ANSI weld certification.

Qualifications

• Open root 3G MIG/Fluxcore test required.
• 6G TIG root flux fill in cap on 2 inch Schedule 160.
• 2+ years TIG welding experience.
• Must obtain weld certification to AWS/ANSI standards.
• Basic safety training completed.
• Able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to read tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced welding equipment.
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and adjust welding machines as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain production averages and communicate across departments.
