Job summary

You will handle heavy components, work with assembly fixtures, and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Experience with welding parameters and QA checks is required; teamwork and flexible scheduling help meet

Qualifications

• Experience reading shop orders, specs and prints.
• Ability to set and weld parts per procedures with dimensional accuracy.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work from shop orders, specs, prints and instructions.
• Review material and product requirements; ensure parts are cut and prepared as prescribed.
• Set parts in assembly fixture, position, layout and clamp in place per orientation; select welding parameters per weld procedures.
• Manipulate large, heavy units as required to accommodate welding operations.
• Make visual and dimensional checks and document results; move work to next area to maintain workflow.
