Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Welder III to assure parts meet engineering and quality standards, supporting on-time delivery. The role involves MIG welding, crane handling, and operating plasma or oxy-fuel torches in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates should have strong math skills, the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols, and knowledge of precision measuring tools. Certified welder preferred, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must read blue prints and understand weld symbols.
• Must be able to read fractions and decimals and perform conversions.
• Must read and use tape measure, steel rules and squares.
• Ability to learn multiple jigs/fixtures and rotate jobs to meet rates.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding of steel parts of varying sizes, thickness and weight.
• Using cranes and rigging to move parts and weldments.
• Using plasma and oxy-fuel cutting torches.
• Operate powered hand tools and maintain safety and housekeeping.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation.
