Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled welder to set up machines, prepare materials, read blueprints and weld parts in production runs. You will weld straps, plates and tubes from .06” to .75” and must pass an in-house welding test (1G or better).

Strong math and measuring skills are required, and candidates must work safely, lift up to 75 pounds, and be able to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Welding experience in production environments.
• Safe operation of measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometer).

Responsibilities

• Read, learn, understand and interpret blueprints and work instructions to complete assembly of products.
• Weld parts in production runs according to time standards.
• Pass in-house welding test (1G or better).
• Maintain safety and clean work areas and communicate effectively with team.
