Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senor Level Pipeline Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead mid-stream pipeline projects and grow its Pipeline Geohazards Practice in Houston or The Woodlands, TX.

The role emphasizes leading cross-disciplinary teams, delivering design reports and contractor drawings, and mentoring junior staff while engaging with clients to develop opportunities and ensure project success.

Qualifications

8+ years of pipeline engineering consulting experience (required).
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel as needed.
Experience delivering projects including planning, controls, finance, and contract management.
Familiarity with mid-stream oil and gas integrity programs and pipeline design processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (required).
Knowledge of applicable codes: ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192/195.
Experience with various pipeline installation techniques (open cut, HDD, etc.).
P&ID development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop business opportunities with clients and prepare proposals.
Steward client relationships to generate repeat business.
Oversee project delivery including planning, budgeting, risk and change management.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams to complete projects on time and within scope.
Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and specs for pipeline projects.
Develop construction drawings and contractor specifications for mid-stream projects.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians; perform senior reviews of deliverables.
Travel to client sites and participate in fieldwork as required.
