Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Senior Pipeline Engineer to drive mid-stream oil and gas projects from Houston or The Woodlands, TX. The role emphasizes leadership, client development, and delivering technically rigorous design packages for new-build, replacement, and upgrade pipelines.

You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, prepare reports and drawings, and supervise engineers, designers, and drafters while ensuring compliance with ASME B31.3/B31.8 and CFR standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pipeline engineering experience in a consulting setting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.
• Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients and prepare proposals.
• Lead project delivery including planning, controls, budgeting, risk and contracts.
• Manage multiple projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop construction drawings and contractor specs for mid-stream pipelines.
• Mentor junior staff and provide senior technical reviews.
• Travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
