Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Middleware Administrator to join its in-office team in the United States. You will manage end-to-end middleware platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, and IBM HTTP Server, ensuring production stability and secure deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with middleware platforms (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat) and Java.
• Experience with Linux, shell, Python, and Perl scripting.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links).
• Experience with Release Deploy Tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME consulting and ensure designs meet architecture standards.
• Translate business requirements into technical definitions, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment.
• Evaluate reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure fit for purpose.
• Develop software solutions to automate manual and repetitive work.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products under consideration.
• Promote an inclusive and productive work environment and help remove blockers.
• Contribute to functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements across domains.
