Job summary

Bank of America seeks an experienced middleware administrator to manage critical banking platforms. You will support WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and IBM HTTP Server, ensuring high availability and regulatory compliance across projects.

In this role, you will work with application teams, develop deployment templates, advise on J2EE best practices, and implement infrastructure designs for resilience. A strong background in Java, scripting, and DevOps tooling is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience in middleware/enterprise platforms.
• Experience with WebSphere/JBoss/Apache/Tomcat stacks and Java services.
• Knowledge of BPM products, specifically Appian.
• Proficient in Linux environments and scripting (Shell, Python, Perl).
• Familiar with network infrastructure, release deploy tools and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide middleware administration for banking platforms end-to-end.
• Deliver middleware projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure production stability and timely patching of middleware.
