Job summary

CDW is seeking an experienced middleware administrator to support enterprise banking platforms. The role involves end-to-end middleware administration across WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS, with a focus on stability, patching, and production readiness.

You will collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure reliable deployments, design scalable middleware topologies, and provide expert J2EE guidance in line with regulatory and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on middleware administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, WXS.
• Ability to install, configure, patch, upgrade and perform performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end middleware administration for critical banking platforms.
• Deliver middleware components of enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Maintain production stability through ongoing middleware support and issue resolution.
• Keep middleware platforms current with patches and updates.
• Install, configure, administer, and tune middleware servers.
• Collaborate with application and testing teams to provide middleware and Java support.
• Create and maintain deployment templates for consistent deployments.
• Serve as a J2EE architect and advise on best practices.
