Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator to support critical banking platforms and ensure production stability. You will manage WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS while delivering enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives.

You will patch platforms, assist application teams, and design scalable middleware topologies with high availability. Strong scripting and automation experience with Ansible, XLR, and Bitbucket is required.

Qualifications

• Information Technology professional with 5+ years of experience in the listed technologies (Java/J2EE, middleware, WebSphere, BPM, Linux).
• Experience with enterprise middleware and integration patterns is required.
• Familiarity with deployment, automation, and tooling (Ansible, XLR, Bitbucket) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides middleware administration for critical banking platforms across WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS.
• Delivers middleware enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives while maintaining production stability.
• Patches middleware platforms to current versions to manage risk and support production operations.
• Collaborates with application and testing teams daily for middleware and Java support and creates deployment templates.
• Acts as a J2EE architect, advising on best practices and designing topology for high availability.
