Job summary

Qualifications

• Information Technology professional with 5+ years of middleware experience.
• Proficiency with WebSphere, J2EE, Java and BPM products like Appian.
• Experience with Linux and scripting (shell, Python, Perl).
• Understanding of network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, Load-balancers).
• Experience with release/deploy tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Provide middleware administration for critical banking platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS.
• Deliver middleware enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Maintain production stability and patch middleware platforms with current software versions.
• Create and support deployment templates and server configurations.
• Act as J2EE architect guidance on best practices in application development.
• Design middleware infrastructure for high availability and failover.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams across SDLC.
