Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with middleware
• Experience with WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat and Apache stacks
• Knowledge of deployment tooling (Ansible, XLR, Bitbucket) and scripting is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide middleware administration for critical banking platforms end-to-end
• Deliver middleware enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives
• Ensure production stability and timely support
• Patch middleware platforms to current software versions and manage risk
• Provide Middleware Server administration: install, configure, tune, and support
• Collaborate with application/testing teams on Middleware and Java support
• Create, maintain and support deployment templates
• Serve as J2EE architect and recommend best practices
• Design Middleware infrastructure for high availability and failover
• Ensure solutions meet policy, baseline, and standards
• Offer technical consultation to team members and partners
• Communicate with enterprise business partners
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders during SDLC
• Execute production changes for releases with precision
