Bank of America is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to manage critical banking platforms and drive enterprise middleware projects. The role focuses on end-to-end middleware administration, production stability, and regulatory initiatives.

You will patch and maintain middleware stacks, collaborate with application and testing teams, and design high-availability infrastructures while aligning with enterprise standards and policies.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of IT experience with Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere AS, Tomcat

Responsabilidades

• Provides middleware administration end-to-end for banking platforms and regulatory initiatives
• Ensure production stability from ongoing support perspective
• Patch middleware platforms to current versions and manage risk
• Middleware server installation, configuration, performance tuning, production support
• Work with application/testing teams daily for Middleware and Java support
• Create, maintain and support deployment templates
• Serve as a J2EE architect and advise on best practices
• Design middleware infrastructure for high availability and failover
• Adhere to policy/baseline/standards and business needs
• Provide technical consultation to team members and stakeholders
• Communicate with business partners enterprise-wide
• Interface with internal customers and external vendors across SDLC
• Execute production changes for bank-integrated and regulatory releases
