Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking a proactive Middle Office/Trade Support professional in the United States to join a growing hedge fund and private equity client base. You will handle trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and cash management while supporting a range of complex derivative instruments.

The role offers exposure to multiple markets, scaling responsibility within 6–12 months, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver accurate valuations and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a middle office or trade support role.
• Industry platform knowledge: MarkitWire, DerivServ, Markit Trade Manager, TRM, Traiana Harmony, Bloomberg, DTCC/Icelink, PB Portals is a plus.
• Exposure to various financial products. Complex products a plus.
• Intermediate level of Excel is required.
• Clear and persuasive communicators who can articulate their actions, identify root causes, and suggest improved ideas.
• Desire to learn and embrace new technology.

Responsibilities

• trade capture, confirmation/affirmation, reconciliation, operational reporting and ad-hoc client queries
• Assist in supporting esoteric OTC documentation process as well as our settlements process as needed
• Apply client specific pricing affirmations to accurately value their portfolio
• Work with the client, internal teams and brokers to ensure daily cash and position reconciliations are being completed efficiently to mitigate risk and meet client deliverables
• Monitor and process all product life-cycle events
• Institute innovative technological solutions to solve client requests in conjunction with our business development team
