Job summary

HedgeServ, a global fund administration leader, is seeking professionals with 3-7 years of middle office or trade support experience to enhance client service and risk controls. You will handle cash/position reconciliations, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with brokers and clients on a range of financial products.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in a middle office or trade support role.
  • Exposure to various financial products is a plus: IRS, Swaptions, Basis Swaps, XCCY Swaps, Variance/Volatility Swaps, FX Options(exotics), TRS, Futures.
  • Self-motivated team player with a client-service oriented approach.
  • Strong Excel skills with a mind for process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the client, internal teams and brokers to ensure daily cash and position reconciliations are completed to mitigate risk.
  • Mentor junior staff on various financial products and process improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with trading parties and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Institute innovative technological solutions to solve client requests with the business development team.
  • Monitor and process all product life-cycle events.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives and light project work.

Job Description

As we continue through a period of growth, HedgeServ is searching for future leaders who can make an immediate impact on our already successful team. We're seeking professionals with three to seven years of experience who are decisive, energetic, and self-starting.

The middle office team performs trade support activities required by our hedge fund and private equity client base. This includes electronic trade/deal capture, confirmation/affirmation of activity, settlements, cash and collateral management, t+1 break resolution, technology development, and valuations processing. This position typically exposes the candidate to a wide range of financial markets and tradeable products including highly complex derivative instruments.

A successful candidate will assume considerable responsibility within six to twelve months, serving as the primary point of contact on client relationship(s), helping on-board new clients with the guidance of senior team members, and participating in cross-team projects all being possibilities. In addition to overseeing the work of more junior members of the team and participating in their mentorship.

Role Responsibilities

Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
