The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Underwriter for the Virginia Middle Market territory. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position based in Richmond and Reston, VA.

You will identify, solicit, underwrite and sell new and renewal Middle Market accounts, using advanced underwriting and sales skills to provide insurance solutions and manage a portfolio with a broad scope of authority.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-7+ years underwriting MM accounts.
• 3+ years driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business.
• May specialize/certify in one or more Industry Segments.

Mansioni

• Identify, solicit, underwrite and sell new and renewal Middle Market accounts.
• Apply advanced underwriting, sales and analytical skills to insurance solutions.
• Manage an assigned book of business within a broad Letter of Authority.
• Build and maintain strategic agency relationships to drive profitable growth.
• Collaborate with Industry Solutions and other teams to augment the sales process.
