SouthState Bank seeks a seasoned Middle Market Portfolio Manager Team Leader to guide a team of Portfolio Managers and support loan portfolios for Relationship Managers. You will analyze financial information, prepare comprehensive loan packages, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, credit judgment, and advanced financial modeling to drive sound lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in credit analysis, commercial banking; 5+ years in portfolio management/underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads team of Portfolio Managers.
• Reviews Annual Servicing Reviews and other requests.
• Analyzes financial information to evaluate credit worthiness of loan requests.
• Constructs commercial loan packages with memos, background information, and cash flow analysis.
• Guides loan requests through the Credit Approval Process.
• Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations and Bank policies.
