Bank of America is seeking an Underwriter for the Global Commercial Banking credit team. The role focuses on underwriting loans for middle market companies across multiple markets, including Houston, Dallas, and Clayton MO, collaborating with Relationship Management and product teams.

You will analyze lending opportunities, perform due diligence, and monitor portfolios. Reporting to a Senior Credit Manager, you will work with Credit Officers and Analysts to structure and execute transactions

Qualificações

• BA/BS degree is required.
• 3–10 years of Commercial Banking underwriting experience.
• Strong foundation in credit analysis and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with credit documentation (term sheets, credit agreements).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with credit teammates, relationship management and product teams to develop debt financing solutions.
• Structure bilateral and syndicated loans aligned with client needs and risk parameters.
• Analyze ancillary credit exposure for treasury, rates, and FX products.
• Perform due diligence and dynamic risk assessments of borrowers and industries.
• Create credit approval packages and manage the approval process end-to-end.
• Build detailed cash flow and repayment models, including sensitivity analyses.
• Develop enterprise value, pricing, returns and risk ratings models.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
• Exercise approval authority for certain credit actions.
• Present opportunities to credit and risk leadership with well-supported analyses.
• Coordinate with legal partners to finalize loan documentation.
