Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Administrator to support Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Entra identity, and endpoint management for a Federal government customer in Washington, DC. The role is remote and requires Public Trust eligibility.

You will lead engineering efforts across Microsoft platforms, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and ITIL 4 processes while enabling secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of enterprise Microsoft infrastructure administration and engineering experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure Government, and Entra in Federal or comparable environments.
• Proven experience with Intune and Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture across Microsoft platforms.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP requirements for Microsoft services.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level administration, configuration, and engineering support for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Lead service updates, feature rollouts, and configuration changes per ITIL 4 change practices.
• Monitor service health, performance, and security posture; address issues proactively.
• Maintain configuration standards, policies, and governance for Microsoft services.
• Lead Azure Government and Entra identity administration and integrations.
• Administer endpoint management (Intune) and Defender for Endpoint; enforce baselines.
