Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties, Inc. is seeking a Senior MS Systems Engineer to administer and secure Microsoft 365, automate tasks, and support enterprise apps across collaboration, identity, and analytics.

You will work with IT, Security, Legal, HR, and vendors to translate requirements into reliable solutions and clear documentation. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for incidents, changes, releases, and major platform updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, MIS, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of enterprise experience with Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, 365 Apps, and Intune.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, APIs, and automation.
• Understanding IAM, RBAC, least privilege, Conditional Access, MFA, endpoint compliance, data protection, retention, and eDiscovery.
• Advanced troubleshooting across logs, authentication flows, network dependencies, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication, documentation, customer service, and cross-team coordination; after-hours support capable.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries, data integration, and enterprise application support.

Responsibilities

• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune.
• Manage users, licenses, roles, and access using least-privilege practices.
• Plan, test, deploy, and retire Microsoft 365 configurations and integrations.
• Use PowerShell and Graph APIs to automate administration and data collection.
• Support Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI governance and integrations.
• Own escalated Microsoft 365 incidents and monitor service health.
• Coordinate with vendors and provide training to improve first-contact resolutions.
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards and documentation.
