Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States (North Carolina) seeks an seasoned Enterprise Collaboration Architect to design, govern, and optimize Microsoft 365 platforms and integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and business requirements.

You will drive platform modernization, M&A migration work, and automation initiatives with PowerShell and Graph API, while mentoring teams and reporting to IT leadership on architectural decisions and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related IT technical field.
• 7+ years of deep technical experience engineering and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystems.
• Expertise in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and cloud-based architecture patterns.
• Automation proficiency with PowerShell and Graph API.
• Experience leading platform modernization and enterprise-scale collaboration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer collaboration platforms aligning with enterprise requirements.
• Lead design of advanced configurations, integrations, automation frameworks, and platform-level capabilities across Microsoft 365.
• Own enterprise lifecycle engineering including roadmap planning and governance.
• Develop and enforce governance for Teams, SharePoint, and related services.
• Identify methodologies and tooling to improve scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Serve as senior technical advisor to IT leadership on collaboration strategy.
• Lead collaboration architecture for M&A migrations and integration execution.
• Communicate risks and decisions to senior leaders.
• Lead knowledge transfer and mentoring across engineering teams.
• Lead the development of enterprise automation to reduce operational overhead.
