Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Microsoft 365/SharePoint Solution Architect to lead enterprise migrations from SharePoint on‑premises to SharePoint Online and to design modern, scalable intranets. You will steer target information architecture, migration waves, and Power Platform modernization while coordinating with client stakeholders to ensure secure, governed, and measurable outcomes.

You will bring deep expertise across SharePoint Server/Online and Microsoft 365 administration, and you will guide

Qualifications

3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration.
Proven experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Microsoft Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).

Responsibilities

Assess & plan migrations: run discovery/inventory, define migration scope and waves, estimate effort/complexity, and establish cutover and hypercare plans.
Design the target intranet: define information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search approach, metadata/content types, and permissions model.
Execute migrations: configure and operate Microsoft and third‑party migration tooling, manage pilots, remediate issues, and drive successful cutovers.
Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows/forms to Power Automate and Power Apps patterns where appropriate.
Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning/lifecycle controls, and operational reporting.
Lead stakeholders: run workshops, produce client‑ready deliverables, and communicate risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to technical and business audiences.
