Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Park Foundry in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking a Microelectronics Process Engineer to join our team. You will support research, development, and production of advanced microelectronics, developing and maturing fabrication flows in our Class 10 cleanroom.

You will work with materials, products, and reliability engineers, lead modules, improve yields, and mentor junior engineers while navigating a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required; relevant semiconductor experience preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor process design and troubleshooting is expected.
• Clearance: DoD Top Secret; US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own process module development, maturation, and integration for product delivery.
• Improve process control and yield of microelectronics product lines.
• Evaluate, down-select, and qualify new process tool capital acquisitions.
• Maintain cleanroom modules; monitor with SPC; troubleshoot issues and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate across teams and document work; mentor junior engineers.
