Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to develop and transfer PCB assembly and wafer-level packaging processes into manufacturing. You will lead output monitoring, run experiments, and collaborate with design teams to advance microelectronic assembly.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; or Masters with 5+ years; PhD with 3+ years.
• Experience developing and transferring manufacturing processes for PCB assembly and microelectronics.
• Strong knowledge of DOE, statistical analysis, and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Develops and transfers PCB assembly and packaging processes to manufacturing.
• Performs IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications and gage R&R.
• Applies SPC and DOE for process optimization.
• Collaborates with design teams to improve state-of-the-art assembly.
• Ensures compliance with quality systems and documentation.
