Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Lab Supervisor to lead the department Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires a strong supervisory background in a clinical laboratory and adherence to CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA standards.

You will oversee staff, perform advanced tests, ensure quality control, and participate in inspections. A Medical Technology degree and ASCP certification are required or preferred. Competitive benefits and bonus potential accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years full-time supervisory experience.
• New York State Inspection Lab Requirements.
• 6 years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department activities, assign priorities and schedule procedures.
• Supervise staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Perform advanced/specialized tests and interpret results; reassess methodologies as needed.
• Check/approve specialized and problem reports for accuracy.
• Initiate quality-control measures and monitor adherence to standards.
• Carry out duties of technologist during absence or peak workload.
• Complete special projects like surveys, reports and studies.
