Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Sr. MI Systems Engineer to maintain product line engineering and manufacturing systems, define requirements, test, train, and rollout improvements across the division.

Relocation assistance is offered to Arden, NC or Greenwood, SC; travel is up to 10%. The role supports front end systems and collaborates with IT and engineering teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or Information Technology field.
• Three (3) years of experience with engineered-to-order (ETO) products and their configuration tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship now or in the future.
• Travel – up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Front End Engineering systems for the assigned product line.
• Develop training documentation for engineering software tools and processes.
• Manage MI System issues tickets with cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain and improve systems (Bid Manager, Mi Manager, POM) for stakeholders.
• Provide a focal point for plants to address front end operating systems issues.
• Gather requests for system enhancements and communicate to development manager.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend support.
• Participate in product line meetings and drive best practices.
