Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Sr. MI Systems Engineer to maintain and improve Front End Engineering and manufacturing systems. Responsibilities include defining requirements, testing, rollout, and first-line support for tools like Bid Manager and MI Manager.

Relocation assistance is offered to Arden, NC or Greenwood, SC, with up to 10% travel. The role emphasizes training, collaboration, and continuous improvement across engineering, design, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or Information Technology field from an accredited institution.
• Three years of applicable experience with engineered-to-order products and configuration tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship now or in the future.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Front End Engineering systems for the assigned product line and provide supporting documentation.
• Develop product line training documentation for engineering software tools and processes.
• Manage MI System issues tickets with cross-functional Eaton resources.
• Maintain and improve systems (Bid Manager, MI Manager, POM) to meet stakeholder needs.
• Serve as focal point for manufacturing plants on front end operating systems and practices.
• Gather system enhancement requests and communicate to development manager.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.
• Participate in product line meetings on Front End Systems projects and continuous improvement.
