Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Senior Design Automation Systems Engineer in Greenwood, SC to develop and maintain engineering automation systems. You will work with product line engineers and designers to collect automation requests, document requirements, and drive enhancements across DA modules.

The role involves coordinating deployments, creating training content, and providing ongoing support, with a focus on process improvements and best practices in front-end design automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of applicable experience with engineered-to-order (ETO) products and their associated configuration tools.
• Prior demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming.
• Authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship now and within the future.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and supporting Design Automation modules for the assigned product line, including onsite deployments and end-user training.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap of front-end development projects to align automation systems with planned offerings.
• Collaborate with product line engineers and designers to deploy enhancements to DA core modules.
• Support development of product-line training documentation for engineering software tools and processes.
• Prepare and present activity and progress reports with estimates of hours and schedules.
