Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Arden, NC or Greenwood, SC seeks a Sr. MI Systems Engineer to maintain product line engineering and manufacturing systems, define requirements, conduct testing, and roll out training.

You will support issues and coordinate with multiple engineering and IT teams. Key tools include Bid Manager, MI Manager, Design Automation, DCMS and AutoCAD; a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of ETO experience are required, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or information technology from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience with engineered-to-order products and configuration tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Front End Engineering systems for the assigned product line.
• Develop product line training documentation for engineering software tools and processes.
• Manage MI System tickets through collaboration with other Eaton resources.
• Maintain and improve systems (Bid Manager, Mi Manager, POM) to meet stakeholder needs.
• Act as a focal point for plants to address issues related to front end systems and practices.
• Gather requests for enhancements and communicate to the development manager.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.
• Participate in product line meetings on Front End Systems projects and CI activities.
• Maintain the Front End Systems turnback/enhancement database and Change Management processes.
• Support ServiceNow issue resolution through reproduction and documentation with teams.
