Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc in Jacksonville, Florida, is recruiting a Senior Metrology Engineer who will lead the development and integration of inspection systems for automated medical-device manufacturing.

As the technical project leader, you will define system requirements, guide technology selection and development, manage technical risk, and coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions for patients worldwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience, or Master’s with 2+ years.
Demonstrated project leadership and machine vision engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering teams to meet project and technology objectives.
Translate product, process, and quality requirements into inspection system specs.
Lead evaluation, selection, and development of hardware and software.
Collaborate with suppliers and integrators on technical scopes.
Establish maintenance and support plans for the system.
Develop risk-based test strategies and verification plans.
Serve as subject matter expert during audits and reviews.
Mentor early-career engineers.
