Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Lead Metrologist for a medical device manufacturing environment. You will develop, validate, and perform calibrations on a wide range of IM&TE and process control equipment, serving as a SME for metrology methodologies and ensuring FDA/ISO compliant documentation.

Responsible for scheduling, reporting, coordinating with production and vendors, and leading training on metrology practices. Strong knowledge of GD&T, uncertainty analysis, and ISO 17025 is required; degree in

Qualifications

• Physics or Engineering degree with 2+ years in accredited calibration lab
• Military Metrology background is a plus
• Experience with ISO 17025 and measurement uncertainty

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and perform calibration on IM&TE and process control equipment
• Conduct uncertainty analysis and test uncertainty calculations
• Manage gauge requests and inventories of replacements and gauges
• Coordinate calibration activities with production, vendors, and other facilities
• Provide guidance and training on metrology principles and practices
