Job summary

Peloton is seeking a Senior Engineer for Dimensional Engineering and Metrology to lead the global metrology lab and apply GD&T standards across design to manufacturing. This role drives quality, reliability, and data-driven gauging with a strategic, cross-functional focus.

You will mentor teams, oversee precision inspections, and collaborate with Asia-based partners to ensure measurement integrity and DFIs before tooling. Strong leadership and global communication are essential.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
GD&T certification (ISO1101 or ASME Y14.5) and Six Sigma Black Belt are significant pluses.
10+ years in Dimensional Engineering/Metrology, with 3+ years in a technical lead role.
Experience with high-volume manufacturing partners in Asia is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the Metrology Lab roadmap, including CapEx planning and global measurement process optimization.
Define corporate GD&T standards and lead cross-functional reviews to advance data-driven gauging and 1D/2D/3D tolerance analysis.
Establish measurement correlation protocols and conduct audits with overseas partners to ensure data alignment.
Oversee high-precision inspections (CNC-CMM, 3D scanning) and lead root-cause investigations on prototypes.
Partner with Supplier Quality and Hardware teams to validate DFIs and tools before tooling kick-off.
Mentor and develop metrology training programs across the organization.
