Job summary

Qnity seeks a Senior Metrology & Automation Engineer to drive metrology and automation initiatives in Newark, DE. You will lead cross-functional teams to upgrade current metrologies and develop new technologies for CMP polymeric pads, working with R&D, manufacturing, product quality, and external vendors.

The role focuses on designing and qualifying metrologies, coordinating with global teams, and delivering high-precision measurement capabilities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Polymer, Material Science, or relevant fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Metrology, Automation, and Manufacturing Technology.
• Experience and prior responsibilities in project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifunctional project teams in scouting, design, develop, and implement new and improved metrologies.
• Create strategy, design, and launch metrology and equipment automation efforts
• Lead new technology qualification and change management with customers
• Work with stakeholders to develop and manage project execution with well-defined milestones, timelines & resource need
• Interface with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) teams to establish best practices in sustaining metrology stability, capability, parts and spares, and maintenance cadence
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for metrology and system issues.
