Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program with ten years related experience.
Working knowledge of NEC, NESC, NG safety handbook, and NG ESB750 standards.
Be familiar with regulatory standards and apply them for the company's interests.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; able to travel and work extended hours for emergencies.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical implementation of meter engineering standards, specs, and guidelines for NE.
Serve as project engineer for meter-related capital projects.
Lead land-line replacement efforts for meter engineering NE.
Provide field support for CMS, Worcester Meter Shop, PTO telecom NE for meter/equipment issues.
Design and deliver new technical solutions for meter engineering.
Collaborate with external customers to resolve metering issues and review installations for compliance.
Promote leadership with strategic perspective and external best practices in metering.
Assist in storm-related restoration efforts as assigned.
