Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Lead Engineer for the Central Engineering Support team in a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA. The role demands strong analytical, engineering and project management skills to support energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6+ years energy efficiency/energy policy experience.
Experience with commercial/industrial or residential energy efficiency programs and savings calculation methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Validate and automate calculations for energy savings and incentives.
Perform engineering quality checks for vendor-serviced programs and resolve issues.
Provide technical guidance to program managers and cross-functional teams on energy efficiency and decarbonization requirements.
Support products and programs after launch by partnering with business and technology teams to improve tools and processes.
