Nationwide Technical Search is seeking a Senior Metallurgist/Quality for its Big Rapids, MI assignment. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire role offers full benefits and relocation assistance.
You will ensure castings meet customer performance specs, serve as the internal voice of the customer, and act as the management representative for the Quality System. Strong leadership in foundry QC and process control is required.
Competenze
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or Quality Management.
- Experience: 5+ years in foundry manufacturing and quality, machining and tooling/gating design, blueprint analysis and interpretation, technical customer service, and management of outside suppliers or subcontractors.
Mansioni
- Customer Voice & Resolution: Ensure customer quality requirements and issues are addressed, and resolve customer complaints within established parameters.
- Quality System Oversight: Function as the management representative for the Quality System and ensure compliance with quality standards across products and suppliers.
- Root Cause & Problem Solving: Lead department managers in root-cause problem-solving exercises.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Share technical expertise and contribute ideas, procedures, and programs to enhance organizational performance and productivity.
